OPP says murder suspect may be in B.C., has Terrace links

An Ontario murder suspect remains at large, and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) believe he may have connections to Terrace.

According to the OPP, 34-year-old Joseph Madore of Ottawa is wanted for second-degree murder. Officials think he may be in British Columbia.

As part of a public appeal, investigators revealed that Madore has links in multiple B.C. communities, such as Terrace, Richmond, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack.

Madore is wanted for the murder of 34-year-old Christo Allison Richards, who was found injured in Last Duel Park in Perth, Ont., on Apr. 12 before dying in hospital.

Another murder suspect, 28-year-old Brayton Kennedy of Ottawa, has also been named by police in second-degree murder and is considered to possibly be travelling with Madore in B.C., but he could also be in the Ottawa area.

Anyone with information on Madore’s or Kennedy’s whereabouts is asked to contact Lanark County OPP or submit an anonymous tip through Ontario Crime Stoppers
