Terrace set for full slate of Halloween events

With Halloween just around the corner, there will be many ways for Terrace residents to celebrate, with several events taking place across the city.

Tonight and on Halloween night, the Haunted Cabins at Heritage Park Museum returns with a new storyline set in a fictional 1930s village. The experience runs from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are available from Misty River Books.

Families can also return to Heritage Park Museum on Friday afternoon at its October Festival and Trick-or-Treating from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering candy stations, games, and a fall-themed photo booth by donation.

Also on Friday evening, the first-ever Trunk or Treat put on by Volunteer Terrace is at 3235 Emerson Street. Trick-or-treaters are welcome from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for candy from decorated vehicles.

For those seeking adult-only festivities, there are several options on Halloween night.

Gators at the Best Western Terrace will have a fundraising party with a costume contest starting at 9:00 pm. The Terrace Legion will become the Haunted Forest electronic music experience beginning at 8:00 pm. George’s Pub at The Northern will round off the evening with a costume party from 10 pm to 2 am.

Organizers say Terrace residents will have no shortage of ways to enjoy the spooky holiday, with events planned for all ages.
