Road closure planned for Kenney Street on Oct. 16

Drivers in Terrace will have to plan ahead next week as Kenney Street between Keith Avenue and Highway 16 will be closed on Oct. 16 so crews from CN can make the Kenney Street rail crossing repairs.

The road will be closed from 7 a.m. to around 9 p.m., during which time traffic will not pass. The Frank Street and the Overpass rail crossing, together with the bridges, will be open as usual for the alternate routings.

The City of Terrace is requesting residents and drivers to modify their schedules and routes well before they head out to minimize delays and ensure that all reach their destinations safely on schedule.

City officials thank the public for their understanding and patience while this necessary rail work is completed.
