Second arson incident targets Kalum Kabs in less than a week

For the second time in less than a week, Kalum Kabs in Terrace has been the target of arson.

RCMP said the latest fire happened around 1:20 in the morning on Aug. 29 at the company’s lot on Lakelse Avenue, with one cab badly damaged.

The fire happened just five days after two of Kalum Kabs’ shuttle buses were destroyed in another arson at the very same spot.

In the most recent case, police believe the suspect is a woman with blonde or light-coloured hair. She was last seen wearing black clothing and white shoes.

RCMP are now asking anyone who may have information or who has CCTV or dash cam footage from the area to call the Terrace detachment at 250-638-7400.
