Terrace Bowling Alley fire deemed suspicious as investigation concludes

A fire that destroyed the Terrace Bowling Alley on May 21 has been deemed suspicious, according to the Terrace Fire Department.

More than two weeks after the blaze destroyed the building, the department said its investigation has concluded.

Investigators determined the fire originated at the front north exterior corner of the building. However, the exact cause has not been publicly identified.

“The fire is being deemed suspicious,” the department said in a release issued Tuesday.

Terrace RCMP teamed up with fire investigators throughout the process. They announced that the General Investigation Section has found two people of interest.

The RCMP investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact Terrace RCMP.
