School District 82’s Grade 8 teacher, Mr. Ron Sidey, and his class partnered with local business owner Mr. Khan, to learn about the customer service industry.
Khan says he was delighted with the field trip, which included tours of Pizza Pizza, the Days Inn Hotel, and White Spot.
Parents were invited to the White Spot tour, allowing students to get hands-on experience with waiting and serving customers.
Sidey adds it was great to see the students serving, receiving orders, delivering food, and taking payments.
