A new water-monitoring program in rural BC aims to save 1.5 billion litres annually.
Nineteen small, rural, and First Nations communities will receive nearly 15,000 automated water meters, fully funded by the province.
In the Northwest, South Hazelton Water System and Witset First Nation will benefit with over $2.9 million in funding. This initiative boosts water efficiency, drought resilience, and reduces costs.
