Women with or without a family practitioner can now request a cervix self-screening kit online from the BC Cancer Society.
The organization will send everything that is required for the screening including lab requestion and can be dropped off at a local hospital or medical lab for screening.
According to BC Cancer, screenings are one of the best ways to protect against cervical cancer which can happen without the person’s knowledge.
